When July 22-25, 2012 (Sunday thru Wednesday)
Where Gooseberry Falls State Park in Northern Minnesota Leaving from Trott Brook Hall, Anoka, Minnesota at about 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 22. We will be returning to the same place on Wednesday, July 25 at about 6:00 p.m.
What Swimming, hiking, possibly canoeing, Christian fellowship, Bible studies, sharing, singing, plus other activities as time and weather permit.
Who Persons who have finished 8th grade through this year's high school graduates. No exceptions please.

We also encourage you to bring a friend if you would like to. We believe that this type of fellowship is very good for every young person. The trip is designed to be fun and at the same time to help you grow spiritually.

Campsite

We will camp at the group site in Gooseberry Falls State Park. In case of emergency call 218-834-3855.

What to bring

  • Bible
  • 1 bag lunch for the first day
  • 4 pair socks
  • personal items
  • 2 pair long pants
  • 2 pair shorts
  • short sleeve shirts
  • sweat shirt
  • long sleeve shirt and warm jacket
  • swim suit*
  • shoes to wear in water - water shoes, tennis shoes or sandals with ankle straps, NO flip-flops!
  • extra shoes
  • raincoat
  • towel and bar of soap
  • toothbrush and toothpaste
  • bug spray
  • sunscreen
  • watch
  • pillow
  • sleeping bag (an air mattress is helpful)
  • lantern or flashlight
  • sunglasses and/or hat with visor
  • empty garbage bag
  • homemade cookies in a disposable container
  • If you regularly take over the counter medication such as Advil, aspirin, Tylenol, etc., please be sure to bring your own supply.
*Please be prepared to dress modestly. If you have a two piece swim suit or tight fitting trunks, bring a non-transparent T-shirt and/or shorts to wear over them at all times, including when you are swimming.

All of the things you bring, except the food, must fit into one duffle bag or backpack. Be certain to double check each item carefully; there are few places to buy them in northern Minnesota.
